BRAND PROMISE
At PCHS, we take pride in the endless opportunities promised to us. We trust that our voices are heard and our passions explored. Our collaboration provides innovative, relevant, and real-life experiences. We are confident that we are  prepared for our future.
Pearl City High School takes pride in its innovative College and Career Academies, which offer specialized programs designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for success in their chosen college pathways and career fields. With a strong focus on hands-on learning and industry-specific curriculum, our academies provide students with a rigorous education that prepares them for post-secondary education and the workforce.

Pearl City Building and ConstructionOur diverse range of career pathways, including healthcare, engineering, business, and residential construction, ensures that students can pursue their passions and interests. Through tailored Programs of Study, students have the opportunity to engage in honors, Advanced Placement courses, or Early College, along with specialized training that hones specific skills and knowledge areas.

Collaboration is at the core of our approach, with students, parents, business partners, faculty and staff working together to support students in achieving their academic, career, and personal goals. The college and career academy structure empowers students to select from three distinct academies: Culinary Arts, Health Sciences and Leadership; International Business and Design; or Technology and Design, providing them with a meaningful and relevant learning environment.

Beyond traditional classroom instruction, our academies offer invaluable opportunities for students to participate in internships, job shadowing, and other work-based learning experiences. These real-world engagements allow students to acquire practical experience, develop industry-specific skills, and establish professional networks.

Notably, our academies significantly enhance student engagement and success. By offering clear career pathways and a focused, applicable education, our programs inspire and motivate students, leading to improved academic performance. Additionally, they contribute to higher high school graduation rates, increased post-secondary enrollment rates, and effective preparation for high-demand, high-wage careers in Hawaii’s thriving industries. At Pearl City High School, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders and professionals, ensuring they are well-equipped for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
